چکیده
Abstract The Lunar Mineralogical Spectrometer (LMS) is one of the main payloads on Chang’E-5 (CE-5) lunar probe, belonging to China Exploration Program. scientific objective LMS explore mineralogical composition and search for evidence -OH/H 2 O in sampling area. consists an optomechanism unit, a dustproof calibration unit (DPCU) electronic unit. installed lander about 1.4-m above surface, field view (FOV) $4.17\times 4.17^{\circ }$ 4.17 × ∘ , instant FOV visible imaging channel 0.28 mrad, typical spatial resolution 0.56 mm/pixel @ m distance. rotation range 2D scanner $\pm 22.5^{\circ}$ ± 22.5 along azimuth axis $0\sim 30^{\circ 0 ∼ 30 elevation axis, making it possible observe area or select important observing targets. dispersing beam uses acousto-optic tunable filters, target detection performed with scanner. acquires spectral information covering 480–950 nm, reflectance spectra 900–3,200-nm, both at 5-nm/band interval. $2.4\sim 9.4\text{ nm}$ 2.4 9.4 nm near-infrared channels $7.6\sim 24.9\text{ 7.6 24.9 short–medium-wave infrared channel. has 588-band capability designed fine observation points wields 20-band full-view multi-spectral mode candidate areas prior sampling. DPCU integrated diffuser that used in-flight surface using solar irradiation, thus improving quantitative level data.

Mineralogical Characterization of Lunar Highland Soils
Introduction: It has been theorized that the effects of space weathering during soil formation on the Moon are similar to those for many other airless bodies (e.g., Vesta, Eros) [1,2]. Therefore, the study of these effects on lunar soils may form the basis for our understanding of other heavenly bodies. This is a particularly valid axiom for reflectance spectroscopy of these soils. It has been ...

متن کاملLunar interior properties from the GRAIL mission
The Gravity Recovery and Interior Laboratory (GRAIL) mission has sampled lunar gravity with unprecedented accuracy and resolution. The lunar GM, the product of the gravitational constant G and the massM, is very well determined. However, uncertainties in the mass and mean density, 3345.56±0.40 kg/m, are limited by the accuracy of G. Values of the spherical harmonic degree-2 gravity coefficients...
متن کاملVesta’s mineralogical composition as revealed by the visible and infrared spectrometer on Dawn
The Dawn spacecraft mission has provided extensive new and detailed data on Vesta that confirm and strengthen the Vesta–howardite–eucrite–diogenite (HED) meteorite link and the concept that Vesta is differentiated, as derived from earlier telescopic observations. Here, we present results derived by newly calibrated spectra of Vesta. The comparison between data from the Dawn imaging spectrometer...
